バルセロナ公立カタルーニャ高等音楽院(ESMUC)修士課程首席卒業。
これまでに菊地通介、富川勝智、アレックス・ガロベー各氏に師事。アンドレス・セゴビア国際ギターコンクール第１位、イーストエンド国際ギターコンクール第１位など、その他多数優勝。
2014年にはスペイン、バルセロナで開催された、ミゲル・リョべート国際ギターコンクールで第2位入賞し「あなたほど心に届く演奏は初めて」と評された。
2015年白寿ホールにてデビュー。1stアルバム「カタルーニャ」(レコード芸術、ステレオ誌特選盤及び、ステレオ誌BEST1ディスク) / 2ndアルバム「ギターラ」(レコード芸術特選盤)
スペインを始め、ドイツ、アメリカなど各地でコンサートを行う他、MNAC(カタルーニャ美術館)、L'Auditori de Barcelona、バルセロナ市庁舎や駐日スペイン大使館、駐日フランス大使公邸などで演奏を行う。
バルセロナにてラジオ出演 La Xarxa(91.0FM) 他、TOKYO FM(Music Bird)やテレビ東京(東京交差点)などのメディアに出演。NHK連続テレビ小説『舞いあがれ！』などTVドラマの劇伴を担当。
またDUO CHISPAとしてチェロ×クラシックギター のジャンル開拓にも挑戦中。
福岡県出身。
BIOGRAPHY
Shotaro Hayashi began guitar study at the age of thirteen under Mitsuyoshi Kikuchi, later with Masatomo Tomikawa. Graduated at the master's program at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). Studied under Àlex Garrobé. Winner of the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition (Spain) and second prize at the Miguel Llobet International Guitar Competition (Spain), among other awards.
Made his debut at Hakuju Hall (Tokyo) in 2015. His album Catalunya was selected as Best Disc by Record Geijutsu, while his album Guitarra was also chosen as a Record Geijutsu Special Selection.
He has performed concerts across Spain, Germany, the United States, and beyond. He has appeared on Barcelona’s La Xarxa radio, as well as on TOKYO FM, TV Tokyo, and other media outlets. Additionally, he has contributed guitar performances to TV drama soundtracks, including works for NHK.
